CNC Machining Service FAQs

Everything you need to know about our CNC machining process and capabilities.

What is your typical lead time for CNC machining orders?
We offer flexible lead times to match your schedule and budget. Standard orders typically ship within 5–10 business days. Rush orders may be accommodated — contact us to discuss your timeline requirements.
What tolerances can your CNC machines achieve?
Our machines are capable of tolerances as tight as ±0.005 mm (±0.0002") for metals with a technical drawing. Tolerance achievable depends on material, feature size, and geometry. Contact us with your specific requirements.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept STEP, STP, IGES, STL, and 2D technical drawings in PDF, DXF, or DWG format. STEP is preferred for 3D models as it preserves the most geometry data.
Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
No. We accept orders for single prototype parts all the way up to production quantities of thousands of pieces. Pricing per unit typically improves with higher quantities.
How do you protect my design IP?
We take IP security seriously. All files are handled with strict confidentiality. We are happy to sign an NDA before reviewing your files. Please contact us to request one before submitting any sensitive designs.
Do you offer DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review?
Yes. Our engineering team reviews every order for manufacturability before production begins. We will flag any features that may cause issues and suggest improvements to reduce cost or improve quality.
What quality control processes do you use?
We use hand metrology, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), and laser inspection depending on part complexity. Inspection reports and material certificates can be provided on request.
What certifications do you hold?
We operate under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. Our manufacturing partners include NADCAP and NABL approved facilities for specialized aerospace and precision applications.
